D&D Character Portrait Illustration: Horus the Aarakocra Monk

Horus Altair is an Arakocra with deep brown feathers with light almost blonde parts. He has spent a vast amount of time as a pirate out at sea ever since his wings were injured by a cannonball while flying through the sky. As a result he tends to keep his wings folded behind his back. Underneath his crimson red captain’s coat he wears his traditional monk robes and while he does have a cutlass, he manly uses talons as his preferred style of fighting in swooping, capoeira-esque movements. He even has specialty crafted leather boots made to fit avian feet with razor sharp brass talons attached to aid in his martial arts.
